A rustic provincial French washing table circa early 1900’s.
With a beautifully raw, scrubbed and bleached out and well worn top, due to years of hard graft.
These simple and elegant workhorses were always slim and long so they were easy to tuck away and use in narrow spaces.
They were replaced by the more modern dollie tubs and are now increasingly hard to source.
Crudely made, a little rickety (but very stable) they make the most stunning and simple console tables with the most lovely original washed out patina.
