A lovely pair 19th century French his and hers lounge chairs.
His, a Napoleon III Armchair with light polished cabriole legs. Hers, a delightful, more dainty scroll back with ebonised turned legs.
Both extremely elegant and very decorative, this pair have been lovingly reupholstered in a luxurious gold striped velvet fabric, in good condition for age – perfect for a snug room, or tranquil nook or anywhere in the home.
There are marks to the bottom edge of the fabric on both chairs where the studs have previously been removed.
