Antique French Salting Pot
£265.00
An early 19th century French salting pot.
Crafted from earthenware with a rustic bulbous shape sitting on a tilt, decorated with neat repetitive thumb pleats along the edge of the pot lip.
This primitive, handcrafted ponne is akin to Japanese ‘wabi-sabi’ pottery with beautifully weathered patina, and cracks and nicks akin to age and use as depicted in the photos.
A striking sculptural addition for interior or garden.
Internal Neck opening diameter 19cm.
Also pictured with our two other Salting Pots, listed separately.
