Two antique French canard carriers circa 1915, adapted to coffee table use.
Each canard carrier, once used to transport baby chicks to the market of Civray de Charroux, acts as the table base – a traditional handmade fruitwood frame with hand woven sides, using local marsh reed.
A purpose made toughened glass top sits on the frame, and can be removed to access internal storage /display space.
A unique piece of French history, steam cleaned and ready for use.
