A Victorian reading table, circa early 1900’s.
Stylish solid rectangular top with moulded fore-edge in oak, with an unusual and striking black cast iron base.
The underneath has 3 handles for adjusting the angle, height and rotation, and the uprights have cut out decorative rondels; all resting on a metal base of two splayed legs and two short legs, each with small castors giving optimal mobility.
Would make a super side console, sofa table or overbed server. A delightful find!
