A superb original 1940s pine top trestle table, thought to be an army campaign field table.
This well proportioned table top has soft curved corners that are wrapped in iron bindings for protection of the leg fittings and for purpose of use. The tightly planked top fits snugly & purposefully onto the substantial blacksmith forged iron trestles.
A gorgeous and characterful vintage table with an enviable patina, it’s aesthetics are matched by its sturdiness, supreme quality and versatility.
A very desirable piece that lends itself to any setting and a number of uses – indoor or outdoor dining, office desk/working table, or a console table.
