A vintage French pine folding screen by Jomain Baumann for Melun, France 1920-1930 (although without original labels).
A beautiful piece which can be extended and folded – the pine slats are stained and polished, and the flexibility of the joints make it capable of unfurling in several configurations all made possible by an invisible articulated system.
This piece is missing it’s end trims and therefore has a few marks and scratches as evident in the photos. It has been polished and is a really lovely, sought after piece.
Would also make a stunning statement wall art piece.
